Hello I'm Elena!
I became a member of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church in April 2018.
'Thérèse-Rose' refers to my Confirmation Saints
(I chose two because I am both greedy and hopelessly indecisive!)
St. Thérèse of Lisieux was a French girl who lived in the 19th century and from a young age recognised our need of God. Accordingly, she devoted her whole life to learning about and serving Him. Her writings that we become like children to enter the Kingdom of God echo the words of the Jesus she loved. Her dying words "My God...I love Thee" at only age 24 are the perfect summary of the life she lived and I love to ask her intercession.
St. Rose of Lima was a Peruvian girl who resolved to live her Catholic Christian life devoutly whether or not her family and friends liked it. Remarkably, she slept only two hours a night and spent as much time as possible in prayer and in helping the poor. This is an ideal I could only ever dream of attaining to but she's another role model I love to look to for help nevertheless.
